The Villa-The Italian garden – the Tinaia (vat cellar) and the Barriccaia (barrique cellar)-Wine tastings and tastings of typical Tuscan products.

A tour of the Varramista estate is a unique experience;

You'll be immersed in the Varramista world: centuries of history, culture and passion for the land and for vines.

The first stop on the tour is the parlour of the Medici villa designed by Bartolomeo Ammannati ( ) Michelangelo Buonarroti's protégé , completed around 1589. The tour continues with a stroll through the Italian garden admiring the box plants and majestic, century-old trees which frame it. Then it's the turn of the Varramista cellars: the Tinaia (vat cellar) refurbished in the '90s where our wines are made, and the barricaia ( barrique cellar) built at the same time as the Villa where the refining in wood barrels takes place, a characteristic of all the red wines made in the Fattoria Varramista.

The tour ends with a tasting, inside the comfortable Tastings room, of 3 wines made on the premises, accompanied by cold Tuscan meats and pecorino cheese, Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, fresh bread, almond biscuits and a spirit.

You can buy our wines, extra virgin olive oil, Marruchetone, grappa and nocino from our Enoteca.
