Frasca Red

Name: Terre di Pisa DOC

Type: Red

Available formats: 0.75ml-1.5 l - 3 l - 6 l

Exposure: South, south-west at about 70 m above sea level, incline 10%

Soil type: Sand and Pliocene clays with marine gravel intercalations

Training system: spurred cordon unilateral at 60 cm.

Production area and planting distance: 2.5 ha, about 8000 plants/ha

A deep ruby red with a complex bouquet of fragrant fruity aromas blending with the sweet notes of chocolate and the tannins deriving from its ageing in French oak barrels. Full-bodied with a pleasant after-taste. Period of refining in the bottle: quite long.
